Kristin Olson founded Reed Lizard in 2011 as an all-inclusive reed-making business catering to students and professionals of all levels. Her clients included players from all across the USA, Canada, Japan, Europe, and Australia. She provided reeds for modern and historical oboes, custom made for each client’s specific needs and instrument.
In 2015 Kristin stopped making and selling reeds for others. Now she focuses her time on performing in addition to coaching reed-making and historically informed oboe performance. Kristin also organizes virtual concerts for seniors in independent living communities and nursing homes.
