These hand-made baroque oboe reeds are ideal for several types of baroque oboes, including Saxon, Stanesby, and Denner models. Just tell the lizard which model you are buying for and you’ll get personalized advice for how to make your reed play best with your setup.

Reeds are made on 50mm staples with cane gouged to .70mm thickness and feature a consistently warm sound and even, stable intonation. If you need a different length of staple, please contact info@reedlizard.com for a price quote. Many variables are available as a special order.
