While in Boston over the weekend for Grand Harmonie’s Grand Salon concert, I came across this reptilian gem outside of Cambridge Common, a pub on Mass Ave. He was enormous, glowing, and, in my opinion, smiling.  I couldn’t resist a short photo session. Thanks for the photos, Liza Malamut!

Speaking of Grand Harmonie, here are a couple of photos from our sold-out weekend concerts. I had agreat time explaining the ins and outs of the late classical oboe and early 19th century salon concert culture to our eager audiences.
